Silent snow

Addiction in the veins
addiction in my mind
run run run run away
run from the silent snow

hit you behind the eyes
a drop of blood falls
blackened steel on the river below

below

there’s a fire in the hills
there’s a fire in the silent snow
there’s a fire in the hills
there’s a fire in the silent snow

come on and grab the wind as it blows
come on and grab the wind as it blows
blows away the silent snow
blows away the silent snow

  1. And the white snow flies, frantic, Adrenalin rush sublime. There’s an addiction to the music of the piece, as my mind waltzes away with a host of varied interpretations… (I’ve been known to make the odd mountain out of the mundane mole hill more than once!)

  2. Seems as if this ought to be a song lyric–I’m hearing wild guitars, a heavy refrain, blunt and powerful with a buzzing bass riff. Hang on to the wind, may it blow up a resolving storm. This is a sharp piece.

  3. if we allow the wind to go past us without breathing in, we are lost..

this poem speaks way more than many may see.. i like poetry that leaves me thinking..

    evolutionary..
    well done
